Welcome to my website for Sewing, Knitting, Crochet, Historical Costume and Needlecrafts

I'm passionate about dressmaking, knitting, crochet and needlecrafts and always have an assortment of projects on the go.

I've been a Professional Dressmaker for many years now, with a background of Bridal Wear, Historical Costume and Millinary.

Along with this, I've had a lifelong love for needle-crafts and have knitted, crocheted and stitched since a small child.

I teach Knitting & Crochet classes and workshops, along with running my own needle-crafts group "Knit N Stitch" twice monthly.

Last year I became a Craft Ambassador and Guest Presenter for Create and Craft TV and enjoy introducing new products and demonstrating techniques and tips on the programmes.

The Knitting section includes "Free Knitting Patterns" useful Information, a full abbreviation listing, along with "UK/USA" conversion charts for knitting needles, and yarn weights.

The Crochet section includes some "Free Crochet Patterns", a listing of full Crochet Abbreviations & "UK / USA" Conversions Charts for hook sizes, and yarn weights.

Along with this the Crochet section also has full instructions with clear photos on how to make "Granny Squares".

You will see in the Dressmaking section how I plan the design and making process of my garments along with a Measurement Guide , to help you take accurate body measurements, when planning to have gowns or costumes made.

My Historical Costume section shows you the diferent types and categories of costume I make along with a Timeline page, which outlines the various periods in history.
